Client Policies Post COVID-19
Reopening June 15, 2020
Due to the drastic impact COVID-19 has put on us, it is imperative that we feel safe and relaxed in a clean environment during the production of our self-tape auditions and private coaching sessions. The policies listed below are standard studio policies that also incorporate COVID-19 safety requirements that will help us maintain strict sanitary measures, client health and minimal client-to-client interactions.
Our goal is to help you feel better about being outside while bringing out the very best in your work as an actor and creating powerful audition tapes that will leave impressions with casting directors worldwide.
Safety and Cleanliness
The entire studio is cleaned and sanitized daily. High traffic areas and touch points such as door handles, hooks, equipment, lavalier microphones, tables and chairs are disinfected in between each client. Clients must have a mask to enter the studio for their appointment and should wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Hand sanitizer, masks and gloves will be provided. Once the camera operator is more than six feet away from the client wearing a mask, gloves and protective shield, the client may then remove their mask to perform their audition on camera or during their private coaching session. As soon the audition taping is over, clients will be asked to wash their hands, use hand sanitizer, and put on their mask back on for the remainder of their appointment.
Appointments
An appointment is required for all self-tapes and private coaching sessions. Due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, only one client will be booked at a time. Appointments will be staggered to ensure that one client isn’t leaving while another client is checking in. It will also ensure that not more than one client is arriving at the same time.
Please arrive on time for your appointment
We cannot support multiple clients in the studio at the same time; therefore, if you are late, your appointment will likely have to be rescheduled. If we are able to accommodate you the same day, your session will end on time, regardless of how late it began to avoid delaying the next client. If you are early, we ask that you wait outside (6 feet away from others) or in your car.
How Are You Feeling?
If you have an appointment, but are feeling sick or have been sick in the recent days leading up to your appointment, please call and let us know so we can reschedule you for another time. It is better for us to err on the side of caution and do not expose anyone by accident.
According to the CDC, people with the following symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or Chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or Runny Nose
- Nausea or Vomiting
- Diarrea

No Guests
We need to limit the amount of people in the space at once just for social distancing and safety precautions. Please come by yourself for your appointment.
Assumption Of Risks
I understand that while the Victor Cruz Acting Studio (VCAS) has undertaken reasonable steps to lessen the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in connection with the Services, VCAS is not responsible in any manner for any risks related to COVID-19 in connection with the Services. I understand that the World Health Organization has classified the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. I further understand that COVID-19 is a highly contagious and dangerous disease, and that contact with the virus that causes COVID-19 may result in significant personal injury or death.
Cancellation Fee
We understand that things happen, so we humbly request that if you cannot make your appointment for any reason, you simply let us know 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a $50 late cancellation fee. Any client showing signs of illness will be allowed to cancel their appointment, without penalty, and can rebook no sooner than 2 weeks from the date of cancellation.
